Where is Viejas Arena, and what should I know about the venue?
Viejas Arena at Aztec Bowl is located on the San Diego State University campus in San Diego. It is an indoor arena with reserved seating, so compare the seating chart and listing details before choosing seats. Availability and the stage layout can affect sightlines for this event.
Which seats are best for a concert at Viejas Arena?
Lower-level seats near the stage are a strong choice for a close-up view, while centered sections farther back can offer a broader perspective of the performance. The best option depends on your budget and preference. Review the event seating map and any listing notes before purchasing.
Are there seats to avoid at Viejas Arena?
Seats far from the stage may feel less immersive, and seats at the side or behind the stage can have limited views depending on the concert setup. Check the seat location and any restricted-view information provided with the ticket rather than relying on section name alone.
What are the parking options for Viejas Arena?
Paid parking is available in campus lots and structures, but event-day availability, access, and fees can vary. Follow posted event parking directions and allow extra time for campus traffic. Arriving early can make it easier to find a space and reach the arena before the show.

Who Want The Smoke San Diego Concert reviews
Solid, but too short, performance
The band started performing around 8:05, left the stage for about 5 minutes before the encore, and finished up by 9:25. Also great that we didn't waste any time with an opening act. They should be in the HOF now! My only issue was the too-short length of the set. This was a very good Who Want The Smoke performance. Maybe that's unrealistic to ask from a band that is on the road so often and in the first night of back-to-back performances in two different States? The energy level was high, and the band, as usual, was tight. No complaints as to the content of the show -- always fun, always entertaining, always a reminder of what a great rock band this is. This would have been great for a summer festival, or a performance at Ravinia. But for the amount that we were paying for VIP seats, a two-hour show, at a minimum, would have been appreciated.
